Roles and Permissions

In the Metric Identity platform, various roles and permissions are assigned to users based on their responsibilities and the scope of their access within the system. This section outlines the roles and permissions for different user types within the platform.

System Administrator

System Administrators have the highest level of access and authority within the Metric Identity platform. They have privileges to:

  • Approve or Reject onboarding requests from organizations.
  • Read, Update and Delete user accounts.
  • View and generate reports.
  • Invite users to organizations.
  • Access verification transactions for audit purposes.

Partner Organisation Roles

For partner organisations, the following roles exist:

The Business Manager acts as the System Administrators for the partner organization. Their privileges include:

  • Access to all permissions on the partner portal.
  • Create accounts for users within their organization.
  • Perform verification transactions.
  • Remove users from their organization.
  • Assign roles to users.
  • View and generate reports.
  • Access billing information.
  • Create departments.
  • Create branches.
  • Add purposes of verification.
  • Define verification channels such as Mobile Application(iOS and Android), Web, SDK(iOS and Android) and API integration.
  • Define verification types (Verify Only, Verify and Compare, Verify by token).
  • Define verification modes (On Device, Blended Verification and Online Verification).
  • Define ID types for verification (Ghana Card, New Voters ID, Old Voters, passport and Driver’s License).
  • Add API keys, Web-hooks, and merchant keys management for the organization.
